This fly has been a proven pattern throughout Southern Oregon and Northern California for trout. We particularly like it in the smaller sizes for the Upper Sacramento and McCloud as a dropper fly. This fly in the size 12 is also a good steelhead pattern on the Rogue and Klamath.
